There are many dogs and cats, old and young looking for homes at the Korean Animal Protection Society in Daegu.
The main adoption centre is situated at the Daemyoung Subway Station in Daegu (Exit 4 and look up you will see our sign on the building opposite. Entrance is door after Sun Village). If you are looking for a cat ask here and they will re-direct you. If you have no Korean ask for English and they will call someone.
Check out this website page for pictures of some rescued animals looking for a forever home.

And click 'Abandoned Animals living at shelter2'
There are always new animals coming in so if no-one is quite right please pop back another time.
If you wish to volunteer please find us in the Volunteer pages here or on Facebook under 'Korean Animal Protection Agency'.

How are the dogs and pups at KAPS doing? Has the cutie in the photo found a home?
Also, what is the adoption fee at KAPS and what vaccinations and tests have the dogs had at the time of adoption?
Thanks so much for posting.

Hi, yep the puppy in the picture was re-homed two weeks ago. I think Sunnan has put the post up on the website about him.
Unfortunatly there is not enough money at KAPS to provide vaccinations for the animals.
However adoption fees will include nutering, which is something Sunnan insists upon before rehoming any animal. The fees usually run to about 100,000w I think. Which literally just covers nutering. However KAPS does have a vet so if adopters wanted vaccinations etc they could talk to Sunnan at the time of adoption and she could probably organise that.
Thanks
Emma

Just to bump this thread, here is KAPS' completed adoptions page with some happy photos of dogs and cats with their new families (http://www.koreananimals.or.kr/zboard_en/zboard.php?id=adoption).
I can't seem to find the adoption listings on their website, but I know there are always a lot of gorgeous dogs and cats waiting for homes while in KAPS' care. You can see some in their articles about volunteering, here:

amber,yo I know there was a very cute litter of tiny puppies at the Asan shelter that were going to grow up to be small dogs. I am not sure if they are still there. Does anyone know?
Here are a few pictures of them:

It depends, the ones at which shelter?
The bear looking puppy? or the Daegu shelter puppies?
for the fuzzy bear looking one that sofia posted, you could contact either Annie, LC, Kathy, or myself after filling out the adoption form under ADOPT > HOW TO ADOPT > 3.ADOPTION FORM and sending it to again, either Annie, LC, Kathy, or myself. Annie's email is all over here, or you can send it to me at sarahwolfgangster@gmail.com and i will forward it to annie and so on. (:
