Lhasa made it all the way to Florida from Daejeon. I'm in the military and will be leaving Korea in June and needed to make sure that she wouldn't get stuck because of the heat embargo. We were a little worried because she was known to get carsick when her foster mom had to take a taxi to the vet but she made it to my husband in Florida and this is what he had to say during her journey and after she finally arrived:

"Lhasa made it to Detroit.
The people at the kennel were very sweet, they said her crate looked real good and pretty clean.
So she probably had a fairly calm flight.
She said it's rare for the pens to come in looking that good.

"She also said that Lhasa was shy at first but took a minute and warmed up to everybody, she is being cute and playful and running around but she hasn't eaten anything yet. She said that's also common, usually the dogs don't eat until they know its time to leave.

"She loves the backyard and kitchen scraps and her grandma...but dudes, not quite so much. I'll win her over though.

"Lhasa is a total doll, warmed up to us right away.
Her kennel was a breeze to clean, I couldn't find evidence of her getting sick, and she seemed fine on the way home.
I gave her a bath and she behaved very well, until she decided she was done and tried to escape the towel monster.
She loves being outside and performs all her tricks beautifully.
She is so smart and I look forward to working with her."

More pictures and updates will come as she gets adjusted to her new home.

She also has a page on Dogbook!
