I got one for him at the Osan military post and it should be international, but I've heard some readers here won't pick it up since it is international. He has a HomeAgain microchip.
Thanks again
I'm in the process of microchipping all my dogs so I've learned a bit. Make sure the number is registered in Korea. They should give you a document with the number and where it's registered. Since it was the military post, it's possible it's registered in the US since being on post is US territory.
From what I've read, the only one that might be a problem is the 134 mHz that's used in Canada. The other 2 kinds (HomeAgain and Avid) are 125 mHz) and are the most common. They use these in Korea and the US. Only Banfield Pet at PetsMart uses a different one altogether.
Thanks again
