Help!

I am thinking about getting a dog whilst I am here in Korea but I would also want to take him/her home with me to the UK. But I cannot find any pages that detail the quarantine laws from Korea...
I do not want to get a dog if they have to spend months in kennels when I take them home!

You can check the pet immigration rules to the UK from this website: http://www.pettravel.com/passportnew.cfm

Korea is on the list of countries which are NOT rabies-free, so quarantine is highly likely, but you should check with the UK government sites or, like PuppyandGonzo said, British Airlines should have links to all the info you need.

One thing you might consider is spending some time in another country before moving back to the UK. Moving back via Japan or continental Europe you might be able to avoid quarantine, I'm not sure.

Thank you. Some of this is confirming what I already assumed...I'd rather not subject any animal to quarantine. Certainly not over a month.
I will have to double check I can afford to keep an animal or two (I do not work long hours but I do work and 2 will keep each other company when I am not in)...then I will have to start looking...I am in Suwon so I suppose I will have to look in Seoul? I'd rather have a 2 rescue dogs...I have a reasonable apartment but large dogs would be a problem...Where do I start looking?
