Hello..
I see some posts about dogs that are trained to go in the bathroom... and I have a question:

Where does your doggy go in the bathroom? Do you just let it go on the floor? Newspapers? Pee pads?

I walk my doggy twice a day.. but he still goes in the bathroom occassionally in middle of the night or day when nobody is home... I lay down pads but he goes RIGHT on the EDGE and it goes on the floor... I just clean it up with some products...

I was just wondering what other folks do...

Well I just got my foster dog yesterday and today while I was at work I came home and found out that he peed in the bathroom. He actually peed right by the shower drain too, so I just hosed the area down, but I'm probably going to crate train him soon. Back home when we adopted a shelter dog who wasn't housebroken, we used newspaper for a little while and he had good aim. I don't have any experience with pee pads.

I have a crate, which I used to train him before... but sometimes my wife and I are at work like 12 hours a day.. so that's WAY tooo long for him to be in there... so I don't mind it when he goes in the bathroom.. i just wish he wouldn't miss....

I think he has a general problem with this cause he always misses trees, fire hydrants, and everything else when he walks outside too... i think he's misjudging how well endowed he is... maybe I should get him a mirror...

I never allow my dogs to relieve themselves in the house. That said, I take them out for a walk 3 times a day no matter what. Remember that if something stands straight dogs HAVE to mark it and if somethings lies down dogs have to mounted it :D
