doggie day care?

hello!

(sorry, i should've posted this in the pet sitter section and now i don't know how to delete it...only edit. oops!)

i will be taking my dog to Korea with me in about a month and with my full time job i will be starting over there, i was hoping there might be a doggie day care service to keep him busy during the day? (there's a lot in the states, but i didn't know if there were any over there in korea) does anyone know if there are any doggie day care services available (near eul ji ro 5 ga?)

i personally dont even know if they have any doggy DAY care centers. all though you could probably board a dog for mid-day.

I haven't heard of doggie day care. There are dog hotels which vary in price from about 10,000 -20,000 won a day but the dogs just sit in cages so it's not company and walks etc.
My dog has got used to waiting for me to get home. I have videotaped him to see what he does and he just sleeps and sometimes moves afew things around (cushions etc.),plays with his toys but mostly sleeps. If you give him atreat just before you go to work he starts to associate with good things not just bad. He will be OK and if you find he is very lonely then you could always adopt him a little friend to hang out with while you are gone.

you can board your dog at almost any vet for the day. it costs 1000 per hour at some places- depends where you go. check if they cage/walk the dogs though.

Maggie is right. Vets nearly always offer hotel services but I think Bailey is looking for something a little more interactive and with attention and activity for her dog. She is very unlikely to find that in Seoul. But you never know. Maybe someone would like to babysit now and then.
