Humane education has as its goal the creation of a humane world through humane citizenship. Teachers who offer humane education know that their job is not to tell students what to think or do, but rather to explore issues in all their complexity, to teach good critical thinking skills, to offer healthy and humane choices, and to let the students come to their own decisions.
