Funds and Supplies Always Needed

Even sick animals deserve a chance at happiness. Many cats, kittens, dogs and puppies need special help to get healthy before they can find permanent adoptive homes. Help save a life by donating toward the medical and/or boarding costs or a homeless animal.

You can also support rescued animals by giving new or gently-used pet supplies to a shelter, rescue group, or foster home in Korea.

  • Pens, crates, housing
  • Parasite preventatives
  • Regular medical care (general checkup is about W150,000 per dog)
  • Spay and neuter surgeries (at least W50,000~100,000 per animal)
  • Emergency medical care

General Shelter Wish List

Not all shelters need all of these items-- these are just ideas. Contact a shelter near you directly to ask them what items are needed, how many, what sizes, and how you can deliver your donation.

  • Dry dog / cat food
  • Wet dog / cat food
  • Food / water dishes
  • Cat treats / dog treats
  • Dog leashes
  • Collars
  • ID tags
  • Cleaning supplies (bleach, bleach, cleaners, toilet paper, etc.)
  • Grooming supplies (pet shampoo, nail clippers, ear cleaner, etc.)

  • Bedding (pet beds, blankets, straw or hay for insulation)
  • Crates (wire or hard-case)
  • Pee pads

ARK does not accept donations, allocate funds, or redistribute supplies. However, organizations and shelters in Korea that do welcome (and need) donations include:
