Updated as of Apr.15th : Chaile is now at Daejeon Paws.
Rescue story :
At the end of last year, Charlie was found around Emart in Daejeon & a staff left him to a vet. He looked overall fine & even wore clothes. Assuming that the owner will be showing up soon, the vet decided to wait for about 2 weeks. Saddly, no one ever claimed Charie. Instead of being sent to a pound, he is still at the vet clinic. The thing is that the clinic will be closed for good at the end of this month( FEB 29th) & I can't foster him as I had a baby recently. If you're looking for a dog with good energy and affection, Charlie will make a wonderful addtion to your family. He is very good on leash & loves to be cuddled. He also understands "Stay".
Health status :
As it seemed like he was unlikely to be claimed, he got neutered at the vet & his blood test is normal. However it turned out that he is sufferring from heartworm which is at a severe stage. He is now under heartworm treatment. All the shots required were done and he is expecting the final test next months.
PLEASE CONSIDER CHALIE AS HE RESERVES A BETTER LIFE THAN BEING DUMPED WHILE SUFFERING FROM SEVERE HEARTWORM!!!!

Charlie was sent to Daejeon Paws yesterday. She looked really insecure to leave a clinic.
Would anyone give this lovely dog a secure & loving home???

Charlie is now in foster-care. I got a cage for him to try to keep him still over his treatment. He is such a sweetie. He really really wants to play, and be petted and run up and down, so I'm keeping him confined for now! He is so cute and will obviously be a great pal!

You know what? Charlie's pretty smart too. Whenever he gets out of his cage for short breaks, he wants to have a little party because he's so happy to be free, but of course, he can't be allowed to get too excited. If you tell him in Korean to "Anjah!" (sit), he sits right down and waits for a snack. Good boy, Charlie!
