Ippeun was previously known as Aengdu but now has a new name. She's been waiting a very long time for a home and I'm sorry to say there was a big mistake in her original adoption post (http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/forums/showthread.php?t=5872): she's really a girl after all!
This dog is very sweet as far as I've known her and she seems determined to get around despite her disability (paralyzed hind legs). I haven't spent as much time with her as I would have liked, unfortunately, so I can't give you much more information about her likes and dislikes and how she'll do in different situations. She'll probably have a better life with a wheelchair, and I'm sure Dr. Choi would be happy to talk to you about the details of her condition and other health-related information.
Please note that this is a courtesy listing to let the public know about a dog who would otherwise be very difficult to adopt out. I don't have complete information about the dogs at Dr. Pet and a staff member recently told me that many come from other hospitals. My guess is that Ippeun lost her original home because her family couldn't handle her special needs, but questions should be directed to Dr. Choi and decisions regarding placement are up to him. I believe animals adopted out through Dr. Pet are normally sterilized and vaccinated, but please check this information with Dr. Choi.
