Winks

Winks is such a lover! As soon as I walked into her pen, she was all over me with her tail wagging a million times per minute. When my friend and I knelt down to give her more attention, she jumped into our laps and tried giving us doggie hugs by wrapping her paws around us! I can tell that this girl (I'm just calling her a girl, but I forgot to check!) has such a funny personality and will make a great companion. Although it seemed like she had tons of energy when we walked in, after a few minutes she just sat on our laps and settled down. I think she would be perfect for someone who wants a funny, cuddly dog with lots of love.

Winks is up on the hill so she doesn't get much attention compared to some of the other dogs, which is so heartbreaking because she is truly a gem. We can't let this girl to grow weary of humans through a lack of human interaction! She needs to find a home asap. Also, Winks is missing an eye, but it just adds to her goofy personality! Please consider adopting or fostering this sweetie so she can let her quirky personality shine and give you all the love she has!
