Description:

This is the story of a little dog who went from misfortune to princess.

Cinderella was brought to KARMA on the first day of October 2013. She was underweight, totally dirty, her pelvis was broken and her left eye blinded due to a car accident.

Luckily, her picture was out there on internet (thanks to Sofia) and her begging eyes captured my heart.

As she sat there for 10 days, waiting for her owners to come and get her, she was in pain. She sat there for 10 days waiting for a miracle...and I had the time to prepare for this miracle in her life to become true.

When I took her out of the shelter on the 10th of October, she was so dirty and smelly that people in the subway moved away from us. No one wanted to sit close. Once she got to Dr.Pet (the vet clinic), she got a bath, a warm bed, water and good food. Because she was in so much pain, the next day she had her surgery to fix her pelvis. After a week I took her home...and I was surprised she was all shaved. It was impossible to get her clean enough so this needed to be done. Poor, little freezing dog! No fur.

But now she had a name :-) The nurses had named her 콩쥐, Cinderella, and WOW was she a Princess.
She got clothes and a bed again, but this time she was almost as home. There was no cage and no medication....only a little antibiotics in morning and evening.

I found the sweetiest, little girl in Cinderella. She is a little shy at first, but as her fur has grown out and time has past, she has grown more confident and stronger. But she is still a pretty low energy dog. She loves to sleep, she loves to eat (you have to be careful with her not to give her too much food) and she loves to take small, pretty slow walks.
I take her hiking in a dog back-pack a few times a week, and she is so quiet and calm in the backpack.
I think she has been allowed on drivers seat when in her former home, because she really tries hard to get there when she is in the car. When she finds out she won't be allowed on the driver's seat, she soon lays down and just enjoys the ride :-)

Cinderella is friendly to everyone, humans dogs and cats. She never barks but when meeting big dogs she prefer to avoid them. They are scary for such a little dog.

Her eyes needs to be cleaned every day and it is also good to check her skin. She has some small skin problems, but I think it's mostly from the time she was so dirty. It's getting better day by day.

Even she walks really good now only a few weeks after her surgery, she can not walk upstairs. Downstairs is ok.
Also on walks she gets a little slow when it is uphills.

Cinderella is looking for a loving home, a place where her sweet personality can blossom, a human she can call her own and share all her love, warmth and joy with.

And she is the REAL Cinderella :-) In her collar there is a red, little bling-bling shoe and of course her adopter, her "Prince" will receive the other.

I just listed the posting and am helping with the adoption. The rescuer Eva has been the one doing all the hard work and paying the bills! She's amazing.

This little girl reminds me SO much of one of my own (her name is Olive) and another that was recently rescued down here in Busan by BAPS (her name is Patty). I just fall for that sweet sweet face. I've shared her profile on my Facebook and will definitely keep up to date on her story. Thanks so much to those involved in helping this little princess! =)

I (eveliens) am currently petsitting this little darling while her foster parents are out of town for the holidays. She a really pleasant, sweet, easy-going little dog. She gets along well with my dog and my foster cat and really just enjoys being close and warm while snuggling. It's also a nice bonus that she's housetrained and hasn't had a single accident while I've been away at work :) She does need some eye drops, which she doesn't like, but it's pretty easy to give them to her.
