Adopted! Trixie's foster mum, Grace has given herself the most incredible birthday gift ever this past weekend! Congratulations to them both!!! Yippppeeeee!!!!

Consider this an update! Trixie's foster mum continues to report great behavior with people and in the house. Still working on interaction with new doggies. Our hopes are high, and hearts in the trim!

Check out her new video on the ARK Facebook site! She is most groovy!

Lovely Trixie is out of the shelter and is doing very well in her new foster home! Her foster mum, Grace, has this to say:

"Her personality completely changed after her grooming session on Sunday. She is a DIVA now. When I went to pick her up from the groomers, she just pranced out and held herself up like she knew she was the most beautiful dog in the world. She's a new woman! "

"She's also great in the house. She picked up house training without any problem. I left her alone today to go to work, and she was fine. She's active and curious outside, but once she's inside she just settles right down and relaxes. She does like playing with her orange ball sometimes, but mostly she rests."She really needs a good safe home where she can loved indoors! I'm sure she can adjust really quickly.

Sweet Trixie is looking for her new home! She was caught up in a brawl with another female 2 weeks ago, and was in a bit of state of shock, but her vim and verve will see her through! Consider her if you love long walks and head-butting snuggles!

Trixie is in pretty good spirits as things settle down more at Asan. Shaw walks well and allows me to pick her up and down from her cage. She isn't much aggressive at all towards her very noisy area mates. She is just happy to get out for a jaunt. She has learned sit with appropriate stimulus (Armour chicken Vienna sausages).

Sweet, loving girl arrived at the shelter at a bad time! There is currently a distemper/parvo outbreak at the shelter. The situation seems to be under control, but to be safe, we are holding off on letting the dogs interact at all and that includes walking them for the next two weeks. We look forward to getting some updated photos and videos of her soon; but is is alraedy clear that she is a wonderful lady!

Trixie is one lucky lady. She was a stray that a regular volunteer rescued and brought to Asan. She appears to be in good health and is very happy and friendly to people and dogs alike. Her rescuer said that she was very quiet when he first got her and didnt bark and was not aggressive towards his dogs.

She was spayed at the shelter and is currently waiting for her family to find her!

Trixie has a history with me and my pups. She was roaming the campus for weeks in heat and mooching confidently off the students. We brought her in to protect her since she was hanging around our residence and 'scaring' the teachers...

Since then she' had tests been spayed and a round of shots. Apparently she is also heart worm negative. She is very quiet in her cage, but still is a high-stepping show horse of a gal! I have never seen such a light-footed Jindo before. Very graceful. Doesn't seem to mind other dogs (no barking and very little growling), but is very interested in cats. Not sure if she would be good for a cat-inclusive house.

Like I said, she's pretty gentle, and I was able to brush her and cut her forepaw nails before she got too wriggly.

A great and faithful companion!

Trixie should be renamed "Parkour" or "Parkoutte"! she is a very athletic and confident girl, and when she moves she bounces and practically dances over and around obstacles. It's like she is saying: "Yeah, I could step over it, but I'd rather cartwheel and double somersault over it...just because I can!" A home would be very blessed with her!

Trixie's foster mum provided some video footage of her playing in the house. She is using pee pads when needed and does not chew stuff! hat a great girl!
