Goguma

In December, I decided to foster a cat from the Asan animal shelter. There was one little guy that really stole my heart mainly because he was so affectionate and he was so sick. He was underweight, sneezing, and severely stuffed up. I took him to the vet and they ran all sorts of test and it came back that he had pneumonia. I took him back to the vet yesterday and his pneumonia is cleared up, but he still has labored breathing and sneezes quite a bit.
Since bringing him home, he has bonded with my cat, who loves to cuddle and groom him, but he's shy around me and other people. I think the transition from the shelter, subsequent vet trips, pokes and shots has made him a little wary around people, but I"m sure that once he's in a forever home, where he can bond with his new family, he'll return to that cuddly little guy that I couldn't resist.
Currently he's on some medication to help his congestion, but his tests and ex-rays are all good, and he's gained 2lbs! I am leaving Korea at the end of February, and I really really want to find this little guy a forever home. It would be so disappointing if he had to go back to the shelter and risk getting sick again. If you think he would be a good addition to your home, please consider Goguma! *update- the medicine is working wonders! His breathing and congestion is so much better. I think feeling better has made him social again. He's a purry little cuddle bug now!
