Description:

BEST UPDATE: Sulu went home today with his wonderful new parents, who also adopted his brother, Kirk! It's a wonderful ending to the boys' adventures. They'll be living it up together, forever.

UPDATE: Sulu did the coolest flip the other day. He was leaping to get the swishy ball on a string and he did this amazing back flip onto the couch, off of which he immediately sprang to do another backflip/twirl thing. He's so cool. If you need a cat that makes you feel like you're living with a brave helmsman with an innate sense of precise and elegant motion, this is the guy for you.

Sulu recently was neutered and the doctor told us that he and his brothers were all very "kind" and "mild" cats. He's right! These guys are some of the darlingest, sweetest, noodles of cats I've ever met. You should adopt one. Soon.

Oh, Cuchuiaolleaoin.. um.. Chucollaien... Oh, Coo! Such a big name for a little kitty. Cuchulainn (coo-col-in), so named for his heroic demeanor and his unflappable bravery, goes by Coo around our house. Or kitty-munchkins. Or sweetie-poozles. Of course, a cat by any other name is just as valiant. Coo really is the guardian for his brothers and sisters. When something makes the others jump, Coo just looks up calmly, ready to check it out. Coo probably gets his poise from knowing how good-looking he is. He has the nicest tail with pretty black rings all along it. And he has an interesting marking on his back; the brown fur makes a big "C" against the white. (This really helped us remember his name an pick him out of the litter when we first met them!) Please consider adopting Coo. He's as sweet and loving as he is brave. He's also very athletic, and usually wins at "attack and catch the moving whatever" and can do the most amazing leaps!

Here is his brother, who is also in need of a home. If you're looking to adopt two, these guys already get along beautifully. http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/cat/2154.

By the way, I watch a lot of Star Trek... We realized that the five kittens have a lot in common with the crew of the Enterprise. Coo happens to be the inimitable, highly talented, swash-buckling and exotic young SULU! He's always ready to join Kirk (Explorer) and Spock (Statue) on adventures, but he's also ready to have his own quirky fun and crack some jokes with Checkov (his brother, adopted, but waiting to go to America!) Coo is totally like Sulu.. just an all-around pleasant, trust-worthy, and interesting guy.

From the rescuer: This is one of the 5 feral kittens my husband and I rescued that were dumped up in the mountain along side a road after their mother had been killed. They were all take into foster care and are all now thriving. The idea was to take them to the shelter after they were vaccinated but these kittens are very adoptable now so we are all hoping someone will open there heart and welcome them into their lives...

The foster parents are leaving korea at the end of sep so this is urgent!

From the original foster parents: Immediately as a feral kitty Cuchulainn was the unofficial guardian over his brothers and sister. When they were still terrified of us, he would jump to the front of the group to protect his smaller siblings. We were worried he would be a tough nut to crack, but he quickly learned that he loved cuddles and treats. He’s the biggest still, but has one of the tinniest meows and will rush to us when we get home for attention. Sometimes he’s not the most graceful of the kittens, but he’s still the bravest and has a big heart.

Hi! Yes, he's still available! He's never been around dogs before, but I've found that most animals can adjust to each other pretty well if you introduce them in a good way. You can email me at [email protected] to fill out an adoption application and discuss this with me more. :)
