Description:

May 2: I was informed today that my sweet Meadow (Kaylee) passed away peacefully today in the arms of her family. I have loved and lost 2 cats in Korea to FIP. It is terrible. Meadow is missed terribly by her human mom and dad, her best friend/cat sister (Cora) and by me (former foster parent lucky enough to have experienced her amazing spirit for the 3 months that I had her). Bye sweet girl! We are better for having known you! :)

February 9: Meadow has been officially adopted and her new name is Kaylee! :) I love you sweet girl! I'm so happy you found a family with two human parents and two animal siblings to love you forever! You'll always be in my heart! ;)

January 27: Meadow is in her new home and exploring her surroundings. Her new parents are really into photography so I am posting some new pictures of her below, taken on her first night in Incheon! :)

January 24: Meadow will be going to Incheon tomorrow to get to know her potential forever family - 2 human parents and 2 animal siblings. Good luck, Meadow! I will miss you SO much but I hope you love your new family and I hope they love you too! :)

January 12: I finally decided to video Meadow playing fetch! Scroll to bottom of page for video. :)

January 6: Meadow is such a lovely kitten, full of zest for life! Her favorite activity is playing fetch with her stuffed mouse or a piece of plastic. She will play as long as you are willing to play. One time I decided to see how long she would go and she literally played for an hour and a half before tiring of the game!!! But, she is also quite content to play with it herself and taunt her siblings! :) I'll have to try to catch it on video! :)

December 16: Meadow is a healthy, almost 4 month old, kitten who continues to grow and thrive! She lost her foster brother, Quint, and for a week was wandering the house crying and sucking on her tail. Poor dear! She loved him so much. Thankfully, that is slowly coming to an end and she is getting back to her sweet, well-adjusted self. You can see from the pictures how big she is getting! She is so loving and inquisitive. When she wants something she will walk up to me, put her little face literally centimeters from mine and let out one big meow. If I don't respond, she will give me a quizzical look as if to say, "I'm confused. Do you not see me? Can you not hear me?" and she will then put her face in my ear so that I can actually feel her wet nose, and meow again. It's so endearing!! :)

November 18: Meadow is growing up so fast! She is now a master jumper, a fast runner and a scarily bold explorer! She's not afraid of any challenge and will always find a way to get what she wants. She also is experiencing her first cat crush - my cat, Gray. She looks at him with such love and thinks he can do no wrong! He will be in the middle of biting her face and she will be looking at him with such adoration! :) It's so adorable. Gray is a bit of a 'bad boy' - he's kind of tough on the outside but has a heart of gold. I guess it's not just human females who like the 'bad boys' - haha.

October 27: Meadow will soon be saying good bye to her foster brother and foster sister whom she has grown to love and find comfort in. How wonderful it would be if she could find a forever home with another cat for her to grow close to!

October 19: Meadow is a climber! Meadow is still pretty small and hasn't really mastered the art of jumping yet but boy can she climb! I affectionately call her spider baby because of her abilities. She can scale anything and, unlike many cats, she is just as good going down as going up. :)

October 6 : Meadow has a clean bill of health and I now leave her alone to play with all my animals when I leave the house. I think the best way to describe her is with some oxymorons: She is a feisty sweetheart, an independent team player, an extroverted introvert and a hesitant but bold explorer. She is perfectly litter trained and has never once had an accident outside the litter box. She has no fear of people, cats or dogs and also doesn't seem bothered by sudden loud noises or sudden movements. The best thing is that she is learning the ropes from 3 of the kindest, sweetest, most loving cats on the face of the planet (yes, I'm a proud foster mom!!) and I can already see that loving nature rubbing off on her. :) Anyone who brought her into their home would be blessed with a real gem! :)

This little sweetheart was found with three dead siblings deep in a farmer's field. I was taking my dogs out for an early morning walk and heard this little girl crying her eyes out (no surprise). I picked her up, took her home, gave her something to eat and drink and decided to make a profile for her. She has absolutely no fear of my two dogs or three foster cats and my dog, Alexis has already started mothering her (washing her and keeping her away from harm) which she seems to appreciate. :)
