My husband and I have been in Korea for 6 years and have had a cat, Saja, for the last 4. My husband is applying for teacher training courses and it's a logistical nightmare in terms of being back for interviews while still working. It looks like we might end up having to up sticks and just move back in the next couple of months. But the problem is with Saja - she's just had her rabies shot and microchip last weekend and we now need to wait a month for her bloodtest and then there's another 3 month waiting period before she can fly so we're looking at mid-May for her to leave.
So my question is - would it be possible to keep her with a vet/fosterer/kindly volunteer (!) for a couple of months and then arrange to send her on in May? Has anyone does this? Does anyone know of a place that would do this? Or - is there anyone willing to look after her and send her on??
Any advice is greatly appreciated! :-)

To Dorothy and Toto - I can't access your message here (I got the content in my email) and I can't find other members to try and reply to you!! I just wanted to say thankyou for your offer, my email address is saminoodle at gmail dot com so please get in touch again (sorry!) so we can talk.
I have to say animalrescuekorea - I really dislike this new site! Sorry but it's just not user friendly at all.

Hi saminoodle,
The "new ARK" focuses on adoption listings and does not have a forum anymore. The forums were closed in September 2011 because more people use Facebook instead (a full explanation of the changes was posted last August). If you're a FB member, please join ARK's Facebook page where you will likely receive more responses to your request:
http://www.facebook.com/groups/106254800455/
There is no PM (private messaging) system as before-- you can only contact other members by sending email through the site's contact forms. See the post How to Contact Other ARK Members for an explanation of the differences and how to find other members.
Thanks.
