How to write a blog post on ARK

Discussions are now back on ARK, but not in the shape of a forum. Let's try something a little different… You can now share information in a new section called "Blog".

Blog about what?

Anything animal-related that you'd like to share. There are 4 categories to choose from:

  • Donations - Requests for funds or supplies to help homeless animals (see guidelines).
  • Thank You - When fundraising goals are met, change "Donations" to "Thank You".
  • Events - Fundraising events, shelter trips, protests, and other animal-related events.
  • General - Any animal-related topic that doesn't fit into the categories above.

How to post a blog entry

Go to the Blogs tab, then click "Create new blog entry" (must be logged in to see this link). Fill the form and save. You're done! It's really easy.

Where to find ARK blogs

You can find a list of all blog entries by all members on the Blog tab. You can view all blog entries by a single member by adding /[username] to the previous link (ex. ...blog/karen) or by visiting a member's profile page and clicking "View recent blog entries".

Are these http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/filter/tips the only html text formats allowed on ARK? I tried to google other ways to change text but each failed, I could only get the ones listed to work...just wondering. ~Just Curious.

Yes. The HTML tags listed on that page are the only ones that members can use on ARK. It's for security reasons.
