I saw this message on the Pet Sitting Network Korea Beagles Lucky/2 years and Jaycee/4 years are looking for a family to foster them for 2-3 weeks. Interested? Please call Yongsan Vet Facility Bldg. S-4728. office 0505-738-5145. I can connect you with the owner who is then going to take them back to the US in 2 weeks. Either call the Vet office or PM me. Thanks!!

Please join this site http://www.facebook.com/groups/106254800455/ and try advocating that way for the pups. there are a lot more active members that visit the fbk page more often.

Any news on these dogs?
Who do you need to contact?
Let us know.

Check the pet sitting network, yongsan volunteer just posted. ^^
I think there has been a bit of a misunderstanding. Hopefully both sides can come together for the pups. :)

Yes we do have news we found an Airline they would fly the dogs over here but with all the costs, certificates from Doctor, The Gas,ride over there and the tickets plus extra fees we have to pay an amount from 1800 $ to get them back and there is no way we can get the money together by our own.We trying to collect money!I wrote on different New Papers and TV stations. And ask them to publish the story to get maybe help from public.

We trying so hard to help our Dogs!We called tones of org. Made Jaycee and Lucky there own FB site, called shelters people they rescue animals!Nothing happens at seems like nobody cares about the Dogs just us!I am very upset to see the people are careless!

adoptbullies's picture

I am sorry I find your comment extremely rude and unnecessary. You posted this on ARk just 2 days ago. In two days you have generated interest.
*Reddog asked you specifically how we could help, that seems like someone cares.
*On facebook, people are talking about your plight because I crossposted for you, that seems like someone cares. Additionally, I have passed your plight onto a friend and fellow rescuer to see if she can courier your dogs to you in the States. I also passed your plight to another friend who might have other connections that can benefit your dogs.
*Diana at the Yongsan facility is trying to coordinate care for your dogs and email you about their condition, that seems like someone cares.
*feni0001 above verified that on facebook others are trying to advocate for your dogs in korea for you, that seems like someone cares.

So it sounds like to me you have a lot of people here in Korea trying to help your dogs and to help you. The ARK community is very generous: http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/blog/adoptbullies/such-generosity But showing some appreciation for those that are trying would be helpful. Diana is not getting paid to coordinate better care for the dogs, she is doing it because she cares. As a rescuer and past coordinator myself, I know how hard it is to balance your personal life, your volunteer life, your job, kids, and own pets....we all are encouraged when we are appreciated not told that we dont care.

You are trying to do your part that is great, but please remember to be thankful to those that are trying to help you. If you want to start fundraising the money, try having a bake sale in your community, or a carwash, or a spaghetti dinner. All of these are ways you can generate money for your need.

Please remember to be kind. It sounds like you have had some miscomunication with the vet, but please know that doesnt reflect on the ARK community or any other volunteer trying to help you, therefore please try to be respectful to all of us who are trying to help. Rescuing takes time, you can't do it in a day.

I am very sorry if i was rude i really didn't mean to! When we found out a week ago that the vet could not find a foster home and there didn't got adopted that they will put our Dogs down.We where shocked !We never wanted to give our Dogs away.Mistakes and other stupid things happened and that is how our Dogs ended up there!I am very thankful that the dogs are alive and we trying to do everything we can to get Jaycee and Lucky back. It is great what people do to help the animals not just our dogs. The last 6 months where horrible for all of us to much bad things happened and got out of hand. Its time to get it back in hand !I have never done something like this before and honestly i got no clue about how it work, how long it takes all i see is our Dogs so far away from us and that breaks my heart!I am so sorry i didnt wanna be rude i am just very frustrated !

adoptbullies's picture

It's fine and I understand.

If you can join the ARK fbk page and join in on the communication that would be great. http://www.facebook.com/groups/106254800455/10151521045315456/?notif_t=g...

I think what happen was the vet thought you had relinquish them and they have been up for adoption. But since they have not been adopted yet a volunteer contacted you. So I dont think anyone has tried to pull the wool over your eyes, I think maybe details were confused.

I believe my friend Nicole has been in contact with you about couriering! Let us know how plans continue to unfold.

billymona69's picture

Yes she called us and we are very thankful what she is going to do for us and fly the dogs over here. She is an Angle !!!We still trying to race some money since she will fly with the dogs it will be not that expensive but it would be great if we could still get some financial help.We have 2 little kids 3 years and 16 months old baby .We gonna pay it out of our paycheck no matter what we just have to live very short and food then for 1 months or so.But to have them back is worth it !!!!

csigouin's picture

Hi,
Isn't there a family on base that could care for the dogs till a space available flight becomes available? Even to another location in the US?

red dog's picture

I'm sorry I can't help but there's really no way I could take care of two beagles in addition to my own dog and cats. I posted that question because there were conflicting stories here and on Facebook--I figured someone who was in a position to help might be more likely to do so if the story was clearer. Are the dogs in danger now? Are they on a deadline? Also, someone on Facebook suggested applying for a loan (http://www.aerhq.org/dnn563). Maybe that's worth looking into?

adoptbullies's picture

Tickets are booked for May 10, keep them in your thoughts that all goes well without a hitch!

Thanks to everyone that helped Jaycee and Lucky! Diana and Billymona69 brought attention to their plight; and a past ARK member Scamps worked closely with the family, and the vet clinics here to coordinate all the fine details and courier them back to the States!
I love team work!
